Feature Requests for Mobile App

THERE IS A TON OF DUPLICATE TRANSACTION, WITH THE EXACT SAME DATES AND INFO

I want to be able to see total income by category for the month. Maybe add a feature to add all totals inside "Transactions", when filtering for the specific category, within a specific time frame.

Suggest fix, similar to many expense app/ (Expensify, Ramp, etc) if there was an option where if I forwarded an Amazon order confirmation email to a set email like receipts@expensify.com as example, could be receipts@rocketmoney.com and this would allow to add a memo or category in Rocket, that could be very helpful way to easily forward emails at the time of the transaction and get them categorized correctly into my budget categories.

When I open the Transactions page, I see filters and transactions. Can you put a bar chart between them? So whenever I filter to some expense, for example Auto & Transport. The bar chart will automatically show that expense by Month.

A feature that would allow a transaction to be dragged into a category, that would then pop up a box that would prompt a question about transaction rules

I spent a lot of time categorizing individual charges on my bank accounts, but all of my credit card expenses are bulked into 1 "credit card payment" category. I want to assign categories to each individual transaction on my credit card

Where is the total when filtering by income?

I am paid every two weeks, so some months have two pay periods, some have three. We also get quasi-annual cost-of-living adjustments, and other random adjustments. So, over time, my pay per month varies, as does my spending- quite wildly at times. It would be great to have a feature that helps average both spending and earnings, to get a more even picture, in order to be able to set an accurate budget.

I created custom categories that overlap with some of the default categories. For example, instead of using the default “Restaurants & Dining” category, I include restaurant spending in my broader “Fun Money” category. The problem is that whenever I visit a new restaurant, the transaction automatically gets categorized under the default dining category. I then have to create a new rule for each individual restaurant to make future transactions go into my custom category. This happens across several of my custom categories, so keeping my budget organized requires a lot of repetitive rule creation and manual recategorization. It adds unnecessary work and makes the service less appealing to use. It would be much more helpful if users could either disable certain default categories, set a custom category as the preferred replacement for a default category, or create broader rules that automatically override the default categorization.

There needs to be a feature to where you can lock prior budget/actual periods so that the data does not change after it has been reviewed. There have been numerous times my credit card transactions sync over duplicate transactions weeks after I have already reviewed the prior month’s transactions and made categorization changes. I feel that I cannot trust historical data when I am going back and analyzing past months/years. This would function similar to an accounting system which typically has the ability to “close” or “lock” through a period end. This feature would help ensure that the data is accurate and does not change.
