Please offer a otp feature to increase security on the account. It’s received thru the email that’s registered

I work in cybersecurity and really like Rocket Money. However, my main concern is the security risk of linking my other accounts to get a complete view of my net worth. Without two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app, the risk of being hacked increases. An authenticator app is more secure than receiving codes via text messages because hackers can perform a SIM swap attack. In this attack, they take control of your phone number, so any authentication codes sent via SMS are redirected to their device. If they also have your password, they can easily gain access to your account. With an authenticator app, this type of attack isn’t possible, making it a much safer option for securing your accounts. I know this firsthand because I was a victim of SIM card swapping in 2020, which is why I strongly advocate for using an authenticator app over SMS-based 2FA.

It would be nice to be forced to login each time and have two factor authentication

When I log in to my Rocket Money account via my Windows PC, I cannot find 2 Factor Authentication. This is a security feature that is very necessary.

Require a password to log in after a period of inactivity.

It really is annoying to try to sign in via the computer and then have to access my phone to type in a code to verify it. Many banks and credit cards don't even require that. Tonight my phone died but I wanted to use Rocket while it charged and before bed. I couldn't get in because I had no way to see the code. There's got to be another option-like verification via email or a specialized code word/number that is established by us,the consumer, that will let us skip that required code sent by Rocket via text.

Security feature to lock/unlock account with a password or fingerprint to avoid others from reviewing my info when I am not using the app.

It needs to be safer I feel like I being risky using it and giving access to my information.

I give my iPhone to my kids to play games, etc and they know the passcode to unlock it. I don’t want them to have access to this app and see $ stuff. I also don’t want to have a lengthy logon process. Please allow for a custom 4-6 digit passcode to be created/entered if FaceID fails.
