I want to see if I stayed within my budget for the year not just monthly. some months I spend more on say gifts or vacation. or hobbies then other months and I'm interested to be sure I'm staying within a yearly budget not just monthly

This is exactly what I need also. I would also like to track quarterly in that some payments are due on other than monthly basis.
