Need a way to set a budget for a specific date range - for vacations and other special occasions. I’m going on a few week vacation and have a much higher budget than I do day-to-day. I have no way of specifically tracking my budget just on my vacation since it’s only available month-to-month.

In addition to spending categories, i'd like to be able to categorize spending by specific trips. So for example a road trip would still be broken down into gas costs, food, etc, but I'd also like to be able to categorize items into this secondary one-off category.

I think it would be nice to have an easy way to create a separate budget for a specific trip, rather than simply putting everything under the overall trip budget in your main budget. Something where you could break down the costs of a trip and what you want to spend on food, lodging, flights, etc.

I want to track my non-travel (as well as moving) expenses month to month and have a separate way to track total travel/moving costs so don't want to ignore them from spending. But in the current view there is no option to do that, only exclude it from budgets which I don't need as much.

It would be very nice to have the Tags functionality in the web app version for something like this. That way you'd be to make a separate budget for a set time period or event say "SpringBreak_2027" for example. They could make the separate budget be related to tags.

Create the "SpringBreak_2027" 'budget' (really just a view based on a tag)
Creating that 'separate budget' automatically creates the tag for it.
It automatically shows that transaction in the "SpringBreak_2027" Budget when you apply the tag.
If they got fancy, you could have a rule that for the time period that the 'separate budget' is set for, it would automatically add the tag for all transactions. A bit of manual clean up is easier than needing to go add a tag to all of the transactions.
If they got really fancy, they could do it based on anything outside your normal spending pattern during that time too.

Yes, an annual or quarterly budget for big ticket expenses like travel or education would be really helpful! It's really painful to see those big occasional increases in spend impact a monthly recurring budget!!
