Synchrony linking problems

Hello,
I am writing because I am extremely frustrated with an issue that has been going on for months.
I have been trying repeatedly to connect my Sam’s Club account to my Rocket Money account, and it simply will not work. This connection is important for me to track my spending and manage my finances, and the fact that it still has not been resolved after months is very disappointing.
I have spent a lot of time trying different attempts to make this work, and at this point I feel like I have received no real support or solution. As a paying member, I expected a much better experience.
Because of this ongoing problem, I would like to cancel my Sam’s Club membership. It does not make sense for me to continue paying for a membership when I cannot properly integrate my account with the financial tools I use.
Please confirm the following for me:
- That my membership has been canceled
- The effective cancellation date
- Whether any refund is available due to this unresolved issue
I would also appreciate if someone could review this connection problem with Rocket Money so other members do not continue to experience the same issue.

The common theme to this issue appears to be credit cards hosted by Synchrony Bank. I have 3 - Rooms2Go, Verizon Visa, and Sleep Number. None of them will link nor will the direct Synchrony ID. It seems to me that Rocket Money and Plaid need to get on a call and trace failed connection attempts in the application logs when a user tries to connect to Synchrony Bank cards through Rocket Money. It appears to be a failed API call either due to Synchrony actively rejecting the attempts, a misconfigured API call out to Synchrony due to tech spec changes, or an invalid API URL. Should take about 30 minutes with IT from Rocket Money, Plaid and Synchrony Bank on a call to trace logs. I have been trying for FIVE YEARS to get Rocket Money to fix this. Enough is enough. Get it fixed NOW. For me Rocket Money is useless for budgeting because 90% of my daily activity and most of my billpay comes through Verizon Visa and I have no visibility to the charges and their categories. Instead of just telling us you are working on it, talk to Synchrony Bank and if they are refusing to allow it, tell them that every credit card they host has a lot of frustrated customers who want this to work
