It seems like they should have a sort (a-z) option in transactions like company, categories, etc. It really doesn't make sense that it is not available name,

How do I do that. really, it doesn't make sense not to have this sort of functionality. Everyone is going to want to sort on the columns - All dates, All categories, and All accounts
