Savings Goals that do not require a Rocket Savings Account.
Arthur Jackson
I understand that this is a way to get people to sign up for a Rocket Savings account but that also restricts people who have savings accounts elsewhere and want to track goals based off the money they are putting in a separate account. For example, Monarch allows you to set a savings goal and then choose an account you want to use to track it with.
Even having multiple savings goals and allocating a certain percentage hypothetically or actually would be nice to see.

I especially like idea of hypothetical choices.

I actually thought this was how the feature originally worked. Just now, I finished setting up an high-yield savings account from another bank and was immediately disappointed to see that it was RM's own account. This was super disappointing for me :( I guess I will have to do it manually.

Also I would like my external savings account to be listed even when plaid has disconnected it from the server. It’s long term savings, I don’t need to log in to it through this app every single day.

Our credit union has a 4% savings account. I would much rather our money be earning interest while sitting somewhere for months at a time. Setting up specific accounts for this would be super helpful.

I second this! Also maybe I missed something but it should be UBER clearly stated that the money is going into a random account that I can’t access with ease. Like I don’t know if I missed something, but to my understanding, it didn’t really communicate that anywhere
