Savings Goals that do not require a Rocket Savings Account.
Arthur Jackson
I understand that this is a way to get people to sign up for a Rocket Savings account but that also restricts people who have savings accounts elsewhere and want to track goals based off the money they are putting in a separate account. For example, Monarch allows you to set a savings goal and then choose an account you want to use to track it with.
Even having multiple savings goals and allocating a certain percentage hypothetically or actually would be nice to see.

This seems like a highly requested feature. Either Rocket Money offer a high yield savings account option or let us connect our own savings account from elsewhere to the app.

Have the option to use own savings account from linked accounts. Even if Rocket Money can't facilitate the transaction, it should still be able to track the savings account and transfers made into it..

I was just coming to say the same thing. I don't want another account. I want to utilize thr one I already have through my bank.

Couldn’t agree more. I still have to track goals outside of the app because of this limitation.
Plus the benefits that come with accounts like 401k, Roth IRA etc cannot be duplicated with a basic savings account so that’s not really an option for me.

External Savings as Goal

I need to be able to mark an external savings account as connected to a Rocket Money Savings Goal. That way I can get the benefits of Rocket Money’s tracking features while earning interest.

I miss the Mint app by Intuit. It had all these features being sugested here. They merge the budgeting part with credit Karma and it was not the same smh

Also, all of the other top finance apps have this feature.

Ian: which ones please? I can’t connect all my accounts in Vanguard as they do t use plaid. Couldn’t find a good app so far to plan for retirement and do projections.
