Rollover budgets
Melissa Henson
The ability to set monthly budgets that left over money can roll over into other months. This can help with saving for quarterly payments without looking like going way over budget when you make them, or spending money from that budget before the time comes. For us this example would be for vet appointments, insurance, oil changes. This could also have a feature that if I needed to make big payments for home repairs or emergencies, it would remove money from the upcoming months’ budget in those categories as a way to keep from overspending for the year, and keep savings on track when big expenses inevitably occur.

This would make the switchover from Mint complete for me.

Yes!! I budget my pet bills for the year and spread it out monthly. The option to rollover the remaining left on specific budgets would be amazing!

I totally agree.... adding this feature is a nobrainer. Has anyone found a workaround? Here's my (far from perfect) idea on how to address it until this feature is added.
I have Sofi and can create "vaults" (called buckets in some other HYSAs) for various expense categories (like "car" or "vacation.") So, at the end of a month, if my budget for my car isn't used up and I want to "roll over" these funds, I could manually do an internal transfer to the matching vault. Seems like a big waste of time, and I probably wouldn't do this for every budget category in RM. But it's a possibility.

I've been waiting for them to add this feature forever! Rollover budgets make planning for vacations, car payments, etc. Easier! I hope they add this. I used to use this feature on "Mint" For several categories and loved it.

Is this in progress?

Yes, please. This is my most missed feature after moving from Mint. This and no cash transaction feature on the website.
