I understand identity issues may come with this but as a trans man, I would much rather see my name instead of the name assigned at birth. Even if the preferred name is just a “screen name” type of thing

Hi there, you can update your name in Rocket Money by following these steps:

Select the Settings Gear Icon
Select the "Profile" option
From there, please enter your preferred name into the "Full Name" field
Select "Save" at the upper right of the screen.

Seconding this strongly. It's so so so important. My bank and doctors office both have this feature available. There's no reason to not have it on here.

THIS. I’m so tired of being misnamed every time I do something in this app. I’m honestly thinking about canceling my subscription because of this lack of a feature.

Same! Like he said, I understand that my current legal name is important for linking to banks and my identity, but I would really much rather see my name than my dead name everytime I login or get a notification.
