Why don't you have simple forecasting capabilities?

Future Predictions, and In App Decision Making

- A future predictions area of your net worth or dashboard. Similarly to that in fitness trackers, where it takes the past income and predicts future income to add to a forcast of future net worth. I think this would be really encouraging to those new to budgeting since it shows them the power of their small disciplines over time.
- An "If I buy this" area, where you can add a hypothetical purchase into rocket money for it to show you how this descision would either add progress to your financial goals or set you back. This could be as simple as you type in: the amount, how much you get paid per hour (so it can calculate how many hours you have to work extra to earn this item), and an apy area (for a positive apy for investments, 0% apy for standard purchases, and a negative apy for debt).

Financial Picture

I have been a frequent user of this platform, and it has been an important tool in maintaining my financial health. I use it regularly through the app on my phone, but when I want to sit down and review things more thoroughly, I open it on my computer because I prefer seeing everything on a larger screen.
This morning, I was wondering whether there is a feature that helps analyze or forecast financial goals based on current spending habits. I thought it could be helpful to have a tool that reviews recent financial behavior and projects how it aligns with future goals. It could indicate whether you’re on track, suggest areas for improvement, or recommend adjustments if it appears you may not meet your goals based on current trends. It would function similarly to a financial planner, offering weekly or monthly check‑ins with insights that could be beneficial in the long run.

I know what my income will be and have good estimates of expenses. Along with y investments I want to be able to predict y net worth at any point in the future.

Change projected savings for not use 30 day spending average

It’s now really hard to show what my projected savings at the end of the month it is because you’re using your average daily spending from the past 30 days. If I had one big purchase that skews everything. I want to see a budgeted savings so I can see how much I would expect to save based on my budget of income and spending then I also want to see projected savings based on what I’ve actually spent and what is remaining in my budget. Without this, I feel like it’s impossible to get an accurate projection of savings and I have no idea how I need to adjust my budget in order to save more.

It would be great to have a feature in the home menu chart that predicts end-of-month spending based on current pace and habits.

Applications (like Vanguard) have a feature that can help with retirement planning. Would love to see a feature that can take into account all balances, income, and expenses to generate an estimated long term prediction on net worth and income. Also could incorporate the budget to see how small changes today can lead to high impacts in the future.
