Nested categories (Sub-categories)

Something that would make this more powerful is the ability to create Sub-categories.
Seeing every category in the budget is okay, but it does not help with a spending plan.
If I want to do a 50/30/20 percent plan, there are not tools to see this without vastly disrupting everything already pre-built in rocket Money.
For clarity, I'm not asking for 50/30/20 to be built in as a tool. I'm suggesting a tool that allows for Sub-categories, categories Nested under bigger categories so anyone can create and adjust any spending plan they desire.

Agree 100%. This feature would help us immensely. We have multiple investment properties and being able to establish main categories by property with sub-categories for transactions by property and create a report for it.

I would like to be able to combine several categories of expenses into a single category without affecting the original categories. For instance have a category of house related and combine several existing categories such as Home and garden and Electric and cable and pest control etc.. this is just to be able to look at the totals for all of the house related items. Also some categories could be called personal expenses and I would like one category to let me look at personal expenses as opposed to house expenses

I’d love to be able to lump together categories into a single budget. For example: I’d like one budget named “food” but it includes all my dining out AND grocery transactions. I still want to be able to differentiate, but I want to set the budget of $xxx for food monthly because some months I eat out more, some months I buy more groceries.

Sub-categories would be nice

At a high level each month I want to know how much I spend on recurring bills. But maybe I want to click on "bills and subscriptions" category and then see it broken down by "digital services" vs "utilities". I don't want 100 pie segments on my monthly pie chart but at some point I do want to break things down a little more granular.
