Manually add info for unlinkable accounts

I’d like the option to add information about accounts I have that don’t link through Plaid, for example my 401(k) through my employer. An option to simply input how much is in the account to display on the dashboard and maybe even how much I contribute each month would help with calculating my net worth and tracking retirement goals. Thank you!

Accounts not on Plaid

Have a way to add accounts not available on Plaid even if that means the balances must be manually updated. Without this I can't have a full picture of my accounts and need to keep using a spreadsheet which significantly decreases the value add of the app.

Feature Request: Accurate budgeting when a credit card can’t link via Plaid
My primary credit card (and one other) cannot connect to Rocket Money through Plaid. I’ve submitted requests to add this card for over a year, and it still isn’t available.
Rocket Money can’t accurately track or categorize my spending if the individual card transactions don’t import.
• If I put most expenses on the card and pay it off monthly, Rocket Money only sees the payment, not the purchases, so category totals (food, gas, etc.) become incomplete/inaccurate.
• This is a deal-breaker for anyone who primarily uses one card (points/miles, business, simplicity).
Current workarounds don’t work (and why)
1. Splitting the credit card payment into categories
• It forces all prior purchases to appear on the payment date (often the following month),
• which distorts monthly spending and breaks comparisons/trends.
2. CSV export → spreadsheet/manual import
• Possible, but too time-consuming to be sustainable.
• The effort defeats the purpose of using Rocket Money.
Suggested solutions (any one would help)
• Alternative connection options beyond Plaid (additional aggregators or direct connections).
• A transaction import method that preserves original purchase dates (not the payment date) and supports categories.
• A structured manual/CSV workflow inside Rocket Money that:
• keeps the transaction date as the original purchase date,
• supports bulk categorization rules,
• and reflects correctly in monthly totals and reports.
I want to stay with Rocket Money (it fits how I process data and has worked well otherwise), but without accurate category tracking for my main card, I’m close to needing a different app. This also makes Rocket Money hard to recommend unless someone confirms their exact banks/cards are supported.
If others in this thread are experiencing the same issue, please prioritize a fix—this is a core accuracy gap for a real subset of users.

Manual Management for Unlinkable Accounts

I’d love the ability to manually update and track certain accounts that can’t be linked through Plaid, including payment services like Affirm, Afterpay, ZipPay, and Klarna. Some closed accounts also don’t sync correctly, and PayPal connectivity is problematic, so adding support for manual account management and improved linking for these would be very helpful.

Agreed; to be able to import a file a CSV, XML, etc. that list the transactions from an external account to be imported into RM.

Came here to say this! Either add my credit union and my state mortgage lender, or just let me enter it all myself :)

I would like to manually add and track accounts not found on Plaid also. Would be a very helpful feature.

Unable to add credit cards not on your list. I would have to manually track the amounts for those cards
