Income Section broken down by category

Just like expenses it would be great to have the income section grouped by section. It would be helpful for contractors and people that has multiple sources of income to see a group of total income from each source just like the expense section. Showing each source % contribution to total income.

BofA app has charts showing your income monthly income and you can separate different income sources or categories. I need to see my payroll vs side hustle income so I can track them and see how much in each at a glance and over the month. This is incredibly helpful. Many people have side hustles or other income and lumping it all together means important details are lost. Also visual graphs are super helpful beyond just lists of expenses or income.

I’ve voiced this issue before to another representative, but it still hasn’t been implemented. Rocket Money is an amazing app though, the app would be even more useful to me with this feature. I also haven’t heard about this feature in other budgeting apps, so it could be unique to Rocket Money if implemented.

I would very much appreciate a feature like this because I work multiple jobs and need to track the separate income from those jobs. This allows me to understand if I still need to be working those jobs. It also could help me fill out taxes as it serves to verify the paychecks I got from specific jobs.
I am also a student and receive financial aid and scholarship money and would like to know how much I earned from those throughout the year(s). I still don’t really know how dependent I am on financial aid and scholarships because it takes such a long time to calculate all my transactions.
This would help me to understand how much of my income is based on which source- how much are my jobs, scholarships, financial aid, or tips are contributing to how much of my income?
I would also love to see income category percentages and pie graphs for my earnings like in spendings. I would like to be able to switch between viewing category percentages and real numbers.
I believe this is a fundamental function that Rocket Money currently lacks. Many people I know have multiple sources of income and this feature would help them keep better track of all of it. Please implement this soon, it would immensely help me.

Oof, seconding! I signed up for Rocket Money assuming this feature was a part of it. I'm going to have to spend A LOT of time with my calculator today finishing up my 2023 taxes and not being able to clump my income categories together automatically. Also, when I export the income category list, it's not clearly organized and comes out as weird letters/numbers/$%^ so even that is hard to follow.

Yes, especially useful for couples who budget together in the app, so multiple checks per month from multiple income sources (we both work multiple jobs). Full time jobs are able to be categorized as payroll, but our secondary jobs have consistent pay dates with irregular/varying income amounts. Would be nice to be able to plan for future pay dates and input those amounts manually once they’re known with a breakdown in the income category.
