Fix IOS push notifications
Daniel
Hi Noah, thanks for reaching out about this!
You can access settings to control which push notifications you receive by tapping on the Settings gear icon and then selecting Notifications & Alerts. If you aren't able to find what you're looking for there, feel free to reply here with some additional information.

Daniel - This works for controlling which push notifications send from within the app, but the issue I see is with Rocket Money not having notification settings available when configuring the app itself in IOS’s Notifications. Rocket Money isn’t recognized as having notifications from here, so push notifications are essentially always disabled.

Noah: Thanks Noah for confirming that this is happening on your device, not within the app. One possible reason here though could be that we don't have notification permissions. One of the screens that we show after creating an account asks for permission to send push notification and this can happens if we don't receive that permission.
The advice that Apple generally gives in this situation is to delete the app, re-install it, and then confirm that you want push notifications when you receive the prompt for that. Could you give this a try? Deleting the app won't remove your data in the app at all, this is just so that Apple re-triggers the push notification prompt.

Daniel - I can do that as a workaround. But this further validates my feature request. The ability to manage notification permissions is pretty standard in almost every other IOS app… Especially when considering this message in the app redirects users to where notification permissions would be, without any indication that it is a dead end.

Daniel - Can this please be categorized or noted as a bug? Given there is the possibility to be redirected to the settings and not have them available, then handling this edge case in situations where notification aren’t turned on right after, as you said, creating an account is completely reasonable in a proper user experience. Users should not have to uninstall and then reinstall an app just to use a feature.
