Trend Categories against each other

I would love to be able to see how my total food spending is influenced by my spending in groceries vs dinning out categories.
I would love to see the impact/savings buying groceries actually has on my monthly food spending.
Charts such asbar charts, stacked bar charts, line charts should do the trick.
A nice addition would be an insight/analysis stating “on average you save $X on Category A per $1 spent on Category B”

I would like to see side by side comparison of spending by category depending on what time frame I select.

It would be great to see spend by category versus prior period or prior year period to get a sense for where you are over spending or saving compared to previous periods.

I want to see how much I planned to spend on specific categories monthly meaning my budget vs spend per category.

Average spend per category

I don't know if this exists, but I'd like to see what my average monthly spend per category is. It would be great too if we can set the time frame (average over the last 3 months, 6 months, vs. year) since life changes occur - it would be good to see the average during those periods vs all time.

When you click on a category, you can see how much you spent each month, but it would be nice to know the average. (You can already see this information when you go to add a new budget, but it would be helpful to see this information directly on the category page)

How you’re tracking vs last month based on budget category

I like the cumulative line chart that shows how much you’re spending vs last month. I’d like to see it by budget category (e.g. groceries) to better visualise when I’m starting to overspend compared to last month. Knowing I’m at 50% of grocery spend budget isn’t as helpful as understanding “and is that expected based on last month” especially when budgets can fluctuate month to month.

Running balance

Would love to see a running balance under spending each month similar to the discover app! I thought about this from looking at my dashboard and seeing I've spent $xx more this month than last month (and personally I felt like I've spent less.) I went to spending and counted up the amount spent from Aug 1-Aug 14 to compare and I'm way under in a normally high category. I'd be interested to see if there's a time of the month I spend more to plan ahead for the rest of the month.

Account running balance

I need a check/debit card register with a running balance that includes upcoming recurring payments so I can see if I will have enough cash for next week or next month. Similar to Payday view but with a balance after each transaction that I can look into the future. What good are recurring transactions if I can't see several weeks ahead? I have income 6 or 8 times a month so payday view isn't very helpful. It only shows a couple of transactions.

A running balance on the transactions

The only thing the Chase app does better than yours is it that it keeps a running balance when it shows the transactions.
