I need a way to track cash transactions as well. It's hard to use your app to build a true budget if not EVERY method of payment is taken into consideration.

Please add a manual “Cash Wallet” account type that appears directly on the dashboard and is included in overall balance/net worth calculations for a fully consolidated financial view.

Users should be able to:

* Transfer money from checking/savings into the cash account by editing transactions instead of categorizing them as expenses

* Track where cash came from and where it was deposited through transfer tracking

* Manually add or edit cash purchases and transactions to reduce the cash balance

* Deposit cash back into bank accounts and have it categorized as a transfer instead of income

* Maintain an accurate running physical cash balance alongside all other accounts

A major reason people use Rocket Money is for a centralized financial dashboard, and physical cash is currently missing from that overall view.

We need to be able to have a manual cash account for those of us that use cash as a spending resource. We use cash for a lot of flexible spending - groceries, gas, personal spending, etc. Other apps like Monarch Money let you create a manual cash account that you can log your spending with. Take a picture of the receipt - give it a category and your done. I am canceling my account because you don't offer this. Ohterwise - I would have stayed with you!

With a premium account, you can add notes to your transactions, but only in relation to linked bank accounts. So if I buy something on Amazon with my credit card, I can name the transaction, upload a picture of my receipt and attach it to that expense. However, I keep cash in my wallet, and I sometimes get paid in cash.

I need to be able to track my cash expenses also and have my receipts attached to those expenses. Currently, the only option is to use the asset feature for cash and name it Wallet. I can track how much money came into or left my wallet by changing the asset amount, but it won't let me name the expense and I can't attach a receipt to the transaction.

I can go into any of my bank accounts, at any time, to review my transactions through my bank's app. The number one financial mistake I make is related to how I spend and track the cash I have. I really need there to be an option for a non-linked "Account" that functions through manual transaction entries that has the same/similar functionalities to the linked bank accounts.

If I need separate apps to track my bank account-related spending and cash-related spending, then the primary app I'm using isn't working properly.

Please, please add this change.

I think being able to add how much cash I have would help me.

I work as a bartender and often get cash tips. But currently there is no way to track petty cash income or spending. I would like to be able to add a petty cash "account" so I can track my non-digital spending!
