I want to exclude certain categories from my monthly budget and create a separate Yearly budget for the them.

Ability to create yearly budget for some categories

Hello,I've been using rocket money for 3 years now. Since it was TrueBill. This feature request is extremely important and is missing. It's the ability to set the budget allocation to 1 year instead of by month. For example, I have a yearly travel budget. That budget is generally spent in 2-3 months of the year when I travel. It's not spent per month. Unfortunately the app only has the ability the set budgets by month which means Everytime I travel, my budget says I'm over even though I'm actually not because I'm pulling money from The yearly budget I have.

I would love to be able to create a yearly budget instead of just monthly budgets. Realistically you dont have set expenses on things like vacations per month. It would be nice to set a budget amount for a category for the year.

In a monthly few I would like to see how much I spent of my total budget for the year and how much is remaining

Example Scenario:

I have a $6000 budget for vacations annually, so i set my monthly budget on vacations to $500. 9 months out of the year the monthly total for vacations is $0. Two months $800. One month $3000. My monthly breakdown shows that I went over budget 3 times this year, but overall I came in under budget. This can be hard to conceptualize with the currently monthly breakdown

It would be great to be able to project items in the budget that occur annually or quarterly..and then tie a saving type to that bill. This way you can save and track the saving for that bill and you have the funds for when the bills come due.

I was hoping Rocket money was going to add a place for an annual budget for each category (or calculate the annual budget for each category based on the total of the 12 monthly budgets) and show annual expenditures for each category. I sent this request over a year ago and your staff thought it was a good idea?

Would love to see an annual budget feature that then breaks it down by month for ease of creating a budget. I like the monthly view, but the annual feature will make creating the budget less strenuous.

Each year I manually pull my annual expenses to excel. From there I budget the monthly amount to track in Rocket Money. Would be a huge time saver to have this feature added!
