For example vacations. Say I want to spend $5k on vacations a year. That doesn’t equate to spending $417 a month. If i spend $1200 on a vacation one month it will blow the budget instead of just showing as 24% with $3800 left to spend. There are several other categories this applies to

I'd like to be able to analyze our budget, income and expenses over customized time periods, especially annual. Sometimes we'll have months where we have "underspent" in a budget category in one month but then "overspent" in another month -- this is because it is typically an annual expense that hits once or twice a year (example: school tuition or tax bills). I'd like to be able to view and plan around this use case.

This is yet another line of auggestions related to having more flexibility of variations of rollover or tracking that is not simply new each month. Please please please create a rollover function of some sort. We’ve loved everything about Rocket in our free trial but this discovery is a make or break issue.

Yes. Like managing annual costs for the hairdresser. Let’s say I want to spend $600/year at the hairdresser. If it costs $300 each time, I will need to either go only twice a year or reduce services each visit. Each month I should be able to save $50 into that fund so that it is there when I need it.

Ability to set Budget by Year not just by Month

Hello,I've been using rocket money for 3 years now. Since it was TrueBill. This feature request is extremely important and is missing. It's the ability to set the budget allocation to 1 year instead of by month. For example, I have a yearly travel budget. That budget is generally spent in 2-3 months of the year when I travel. It's not spent per month. Unfortunately the app only has the ability the set budgets by month which means Everytime I travel, my budget says I'm over even though I'm actually not because I'm pulling money from The yearly budget I have.
