I would like to make an annual budget using historical details. I would also like to have sub-categories for several of your categories. This appears to be a look back and at-present views with little ability to make planning decisions

The fact that there is no way to choose to set an annual budget is a huge oversight. We should be able to choose if we want to set it up with annual numbers or monthly numbers and have it calculate the other accordingly. When looking at large budget items like travel or home upgrades, it is only really helpful to know where I stand within my annual budget for the year. I cant plan a trip in the fall based on this month's budget.

Some categories like taxes I save for each month, but they don't get paid out until April. I want the ability to see how much is building up in each category throughout the year.

It would be great to have the ability to set an annual budget for each of your categories and see how you are tracking each month. Pretty basic function that every successful company in the world does. I am surprised that it isn’t already available.

My budget categories are set up based on yearly averages. That is because some categories are variable month-to-month like Shopping, or Clothing, or Major Home Improvements. I need to see more than one month of spending against my budget. This software does not provide much assistance without this important feature.
