It would be helpful to be able to create a rule for specific types of transactions to automatically split based on a percentage. As a business owner, my income is gross and I have to manually move money into saving to adjust for taxes and figure out my net income. Thanks!

Rule Based on Financial Account

I share a joint checking and savings account with my partner. I want to create a rule for every transaction on those sccounts to be split into the specific category it applies to as well as an ignored category for my partners half. Right now my expenses are grossly overstated and I don’t know how to fix that without manually fixing each transaction from those accounts

I would really appreciate the ability for subscription/bill rules like name changes, category changes, etc to be added automatically when a split is done. I have a payment taken out every month that I like to split and I have two “reoccurring bill” rule sets that I use for each half. However, they will only be applied when I go in and change one of the rules, forcing it to update, and realize “Oh hey, there’s a new payment that matches the rules”. If a small tweak could be added to make this occur automatically, that would be greatly appreciated!

I'd like to be able to create a rule that will not just assign a category but assign the transaction to multiple categories. Percentage split would probably be easiest, but maybe by amount with a floor rule.

Allow us to create a rule so that when a transaction is a specific name and equals a specific amount, split transaction by $25 (example) This is super helpful for the people who are getting rent from their significant other/friend and your transaction could involve their portion.

Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing that feedback with us!
Could you share an example of a transaction where you'd want do split it automatically into multiple categories?
It also sounds like you'd want to be able to set the percentage assigned to each category in the transaction rule too as well, is that correct? For example: Splitting any transaction that matches "X" criteria by 60% into one category and 40% into another category.

I second this!!! We need this feature!

Same. My entire grocery budget is split with my girlfriend 67/33% and there is no way I can go through each transaction manually. This feature would make me stick around as a user.

Can you please add the ability to add a rule option for splitting payments? My husband and I split bills so it would be nice to create a rule for bills like xfinity, our mortgage, etc. to split in 2
