AI Financial Assistant Feature Request

I’ve noticed many users requesting AI functionality that could personalize and streamline financial management. Origin already offers this with features like its AI Budget Builder and intelligent financial assistant. Based on the feedback in Rocket Money’s own feature board, there’s strong demand for similar tools—users want AI that can:
• Analyze transactions and spending trends to make tailored saving or budgeting suggestions
• Let them chat naturally with their data (e.g., “How much did I spend eating out last month?” or “What can I cut to save $500 this quarter?”)
• Automate categorization, budgeting, and forecasting tasks
• Provide scenario-based analysis (“Could I afford this expense?”) and even tax insights
Integrating a secure, privacy-focused AI assistant that combines these abilities would not only meet user expectations but help Rocket Money stay competitive as AI-driven finance tools become the norm.

Im suprisesd there are not any features leveraging AI to provide recommendations. Like specific bill consolodation, spending habit insights, investment recommendations, top performing or underperforming assets

AI. How awesome would it be if you could ask an AI chatbot to review your Rocket Money information and answer basic questions like "Do you think I can afford to buy a car that costs X amount of money per month?". Then maybe if the AI determines that you can afford it easily, it would ask "Would you like me to add that to your monthly budget?", etc. That'd be cool. Just saying.

Use a cheap, fast, and accurate AI model, such as Claude Sonnet or Haiku, to assist users with their questions. Load all of their user data into the models using the Knowledge bases feature so that the information is
cached
and doesn't waste tokens on prompting. Then, the user can ask about their financial history, such as "Where do I spend the most money?" and "What would help most with reducing my debt?"Such a feature would be immensely valuable to users. They don't need the best AI model; just something to let them work with their finances at a more abstract level, if they want to.

I want to be able to ask something like " how much did I spend on gas in the past year per month on average?" And to have an LLM use my information locally in rocket money to give me a response
