AI Financial Assistant Feature Request
Reagan Bales
I’ve noticed many users requesting AI functionality that could personalize and streamline financial management. Origin already offers this with features like its AI Budget Builder and intelligent financial assistant. Based on the feedback in Rocket Money’s own feature board, there’s strong demand for similar tools—users want AI that can:
• Analyze transactions and spending trends to make tailored saving or budgeting suggestions
• Let them chat naturally with their data (e.g., “How much did I spend eating out last month?” or “What can I cut to save $500 this quarter?”)
• Automate categorization, budgeting, and forecasting tasks
• Provide scenario-based analysis (“Could I afford this expense?”) and even tax insights
Integrating a secure, privacy-focused AI assistant that combines these abilities would not only meet user expectations but help Rocket Money stay competitive as AI-driven finance tools become the norm.

AI financial copilot — personalized recommendations, anomaly detection, and answers such as “Why did my spending rise?” or “Where can I save $500 next month?” Better desktop parity and reporting — all mobile features on the web, richer charts, category totals/averages, and customizable reports.

Ask Rocket AI Feature for seeing how something factors into my budget.

Ask Rocket, an ai chatbot that you can scan a barcode on an item, enter a meal like my fitness pal(I would love connectivity to my Fitness Pal) because eating is a huge expense and involves budgeting calories along with the economic cost, and the feature would allow for me to see if I can afford this vs my budget. Have like a daily average meal for what I can afford based on my budget or category etc. I would pay an extra 5.99 a month for this feature but not more than that and I want the data to be good on items and the feature to be intuitive. This could help me meet my financial goals better. Also allow me to manually enter data and predict how an expense would affect me for the month.

Conversational AI UI

Dave Golden
I have elderly parents who may find the UI a bit confusing. I'd like a conversational AI like interface where they can ask questions and get answers vs. understanding how the UI works

I would like to see an AI component that allows me to model ideas, like credit card pay off stratigies or spending going forward based on budget numbers to help identify pending pitfalls.
